What is Location Scouting?

Location Scounting owes its existence to film-making and indicates a vital pre-production process aimed at finding a suitable location for a movie.

From there the term has cone to indicate any activity aimed at looking for and visually describing a place – generally through photographs or videos.

Locations scouts tend to look for locations beforehand, so that they have a database of available locations at hand for when one is needed.

This what I do when I am on assignment for Giroinfoto. In the monthly issue of the magazine, which you can read online for free, you’ll find articles with photos of beautiful or interesting places. My articles are also there.
